I am an Entrepreneur and Network Weaver, with extensive management and business development experience, including experience in starting, growing, managing, buying and selling businesses in various fields and coordinating multi-national teams working across multiple time lines.
My expertise is in Software, and more specifically Social Media, Online Collaboration, e-Commerce, CRM, Support and SaaS infrastructure.
I currently work on developing the Entrepreneur Commons, a network of entrepreneurs with a fund to help them with seed financing.
I am also a Managing Partner at Melcion Chassange & Cie where I advise entrepreneurs to help them throughout the various phases of their business: strategy, business development, marketing from the initial start and all the way to selling their business or buying another one.
I have spent the past 3 years studying Online Collaboration through my participation to the Cooperation Commons, an open source think tank guided by Howard Rheingold and Stanford University's Institute for the Future, to have a distributed study of cooperation.
During this time I also worked with approximately 30 entrepreneurs on Web 2.0 services, Social Networking, Internet Security, Blogosphere Relationship Management, P2P Video streaming, etc...
I have spent 8 years at Oracle as a senior product manager working on products such as iStore, iSupport and project to deliver Database-on-Demand and Development-on-Demand services. I have worked from the US with development teams in Europe (France, Germany), Singapore, India and China (Shenzhen, Beijing).
I have P&L experience through management of construction projects ($4M) and several startups (my own in1995 and a subsidiary of LVMH doing Technology Watch in Silicon Valley in 1998).
I have a deep interest in Social Entrepreneurship.
When I am not working or with my family, I love sailing.
