Krys Freeman [09.11.09]
24, web 2.0 geek, bLaKtivist, social media enthusiast,
member profile vs. user page
I didn't understand why these two pages were different, nor how to get to the member page.
I'm inquisitive. I kept poking around to see what goes where.  I realized that I can access it via my contributions in the upper right corner.
  • ways to track pages: "watchlist", "my contributions", "search"
  • Any insight on how users are expected to interact with user page vs. user profiles are intended to function.
8 Krys Freeman [[Scottmoore]] Special:Form/Member After creating the form, the user has two pages. The normal wiki page with their name and the User: page with their username. Someone has to manually redirect the User: page to the "profile page". Human labor stepping in to handle the redirect and someone to explain the confusion away. If there is a way to automatically make the redirect happen, it would reduce confusion.
