wikiHow is Dreamfish friendly and a good model to emulate.
How do I Get Started?
- (currently wiki page called How to get started)
- It's the first place where new people can go to get information.
How To (tiffany sees) (needs prioritization)
- fun and friendly D.I.Y. videos and instructions.
- how to give feedback
- how to market yourself
- how to create a successful profile page
- how to create a project
- how to list a job offering
- How to create a Wave video
Some tasks to help develop orientation
- create one page outline of current orientation process
- Create a list of every tool http://network.dreamfish.com/wiki/Tools and create a page of which tools currently are being used by user types. -worker, job provider, service team member, internal only
Next Steps:
- Start styling pages based on wikiHow
[edit] Being organized to get task done
- Tiff learned from Getting Things Done (GTD). Recommends tailoring it to individual needs
- Having one place where all my next steps are and focusing more on next steps instead of deadlines.
- Having a context for the next steps works as it lessens switching costs.
- Gets more done during the weekends when there are fewer interruptions
- Experimenting with an iPhone app, [[1]] with GTD functions and tags. Syncs with Google Calendar.
- Johannes wants to organize his time in blocks of time since he likes to work better that ways.
- This is a hot topic and good for future Community Calls.
[edit] Topics for future Community Calls
